MPBN has an exciting new part-time opportunity (30 hours weekly) in the development and oversight of an online-only component of our Great Television/Online Auction.
The individual in this position will solicit prospective and current online Auction donors. This is a start-up effort requiring research into existing PBS and other online auctions to establish the criteria for this new initiative of an online-only, certificates-only auction.
Other responsibilities include the creation of scripts to be used in print, TV and radio promotions, collaboration with other Auction staff to coordinate solicitation of donations, collection of certificates, storage of photos and / or logos as well as data entry.
Qualifications include excellent written and oral communication, organizational, and research skills required. The selected candidate will have fundraising and marketing experience, familiarity with Maine’s business community, and the ability to work independently.
Familiarity with public broadcasting development and the Great Television/Online Auction preferred.
