Maine Public Broadcasting Network Programs Nominated for Five Emmy Awards
(LEWISTON, Maine) – The 35th Boston/New England Emmy Award nominations have been announced, and five programs from the Maine Public Broadcasting Network garnered nominations. The Boston/New England Emmy Awards recognize the best work being done in Television throughout Maine, New Hampshire, Vermont, Upstate New York, Massachusetts, Rhode Island, and Connecticut. The awards ceremony will be held June 2nd in Boston.
"This is a fantastic honor,” said MPBN President and CEO Mark Vogelzang. “It speaks to the high quality of the television programs being produced here in Maine – both by independent producers and by the staff at MPBN.”
