MPBN Announces 2016 Basketball Tournament Coverage Agreement

The Maine Public Broadcasting Network announces that the Maine Principals’ Association has awarded MPBN the television broadcast and streaming rights to the boys' and girls' State Finals basketball games in February of 2016. MPBN will broadcast coverage of the AA, A, B, C and D class state championship games as well as the state Cheerleading finals.

MPBN Restates Intentions to Remain Involved in Basketball Coverage

The Maine Public Broadcasting Network announces that the addition of a fifth class to the basketball high structure in Maine has resulted in redfining how MPBN can continue its 36 year tradition of providing basketball coverage to the entire state. Northeast Historic Film to Archive MPBN Films and Programs

The Maine Public Broadcasting Network announces an agreement with Northeast Historic Film (NHF) to archive more 10,000 tapes of MPBN productions for restoration and preservation by NHF. Once completed, the project will make access to these historic Maine films possible to the general public, businesses and institutions, as well as filmmakers nationwide.
