Maine Public Broadcasting Coming to Brunswick to Discuss Public Broadcasting in Maine |
 The next Maine Public Broadcasting Network town meeting is being held in Brunswick on Monday June 22 from 6:00 pm to 7:30 p.m. in the Lancaster Lounge, Moulton Union at Bowdoin College. It's part of a series of town meetings being held across the state in the coming year to obtain feedback about the public’s media consumption habits and how they might be changing over time. The meetings are part of a concerted effort by MPBN to effectively plan for the next five to ten years amid a rapidly evolving media landscape. |

 GOP candidate for governor Paul LePage has withdrawn from Maine Public Broadcasting Network's live Your Vote 2010 debate scheduled for 8:00 pm Thursday, October 28th. The debate is being held at Bates College in Lewiston, and will be broadcast statewide on MPBN's television and radio services, and streamed live and archived on the web at www.mpbn.net. |

MPBN to Begin Search for Next President and CEO |
 The Board of Trustees for the Maine Public Broadcasting Network has announced that a search committee made up of current and past trustees has begun the process of conducting a search for its next chief executive. The search committee has retained the services of Tom Livingston, President of Livingston Associates, to oversee the search. |
