Maine author Peter Behrens' award-winning novel "The Law Of Dreams" is set during the time of the Great Irish Potato Famine of 1847, and tells a story of a young man's odyssey across the Atlantic from his blight-stricken homeland. The book was published four years ago, and now Behrens has teamed up with another resident of Brooklin, Maine, composer Paul Sullivan, to create a narrated stage performance that's scheduled to open in New York in May.

Behrens and Sullivan take their new stage show to New York City on May 21st. The show will run for three days at the Irish Arts Center.
