TOWNSHIP 15 RANGE 6, Maine (AP) _ Police say a Fort Kent woman died when the car she was riding in struck a moose.
The Aroostook County Sheriff's Department said 34-year-old Cheryl Albert was a passenger in a car that struck a moose on Route 11 in Township 15 in an area known as Soucy Hill at about 1:30 p.m. Monday.
Albert was pronounced dead at the scene by emergency personnel.
