An Alton grandmother is facing charges for allegedly being drunk and carrying an illegal gun while her 7-year-old grandson was in the front seat of her vehicle.

BANGOR, Maine (AP) _ Authorities said an off-duty police officer pulled over a car driven by 48-year-old Cynthia Faulkner on Interstate 395 at about 5 p.m. on Oct. 31 after seeing the vehicle driving erratically.
