| Public health officials are warning people about an alarming rise in cases of gonorrhea, both in Maine and across the nation. Maine state epidemiologist Dr. Stephen Sears says the warning was prompted by a steady increase in the sexually transmitted disease over the last several years. Sears talked with Maine Things Considered host Tom Porter about what's behind the hike in cases. |
