Hosted by Suzanne Nance and Maine humorist Tim Sample, and filmed at Gracie Theater at Husson University in Bangor, Christmas in Maine brings together artists from Maine and beyond to celebrate the holidays through music and storytelling. From Christmas classics to Maine holiday traditions, this program promises something for everyone!

The program features some of Maine's favorite musicians such as Metropolition Opera tenor John McVeigh performing Christmas favorites such as "Panis Angelicus" with violinst Jennifer Elowitch and pianist George Lopez, the Daponte String Quartet performing selections from Tchaikovsky's "The Nutcracker", Maine children's favorite Rick Charette, Grammy Award-winner Noel Paul Stookey singing "Christmas Dinner", stories from Tim Sample and of course, MPBN's own Suzanne Nance performing "Lay Your Head Down" by Brian Byrne and Glenn Close. Christmas in Maine also features performances from Laura Darrell, Melaine Dorice Saucier, Paul Sullivan, Jonathan Edwards and many more. Join us for Christmas in Maine, a celebration of the warmth and joy of the holiday season in Maine!
