RANGELEY, Maine (AP) _ Officials said Tuesday that the ice remains frozen over the part of the lake where it's believed the men accidentally rode their snowmobiles into open water on Dec. 30, the same night a Yarmouth woman was killed when she rode her snow sled into the lake.
The men have been identified as 40-year-old Kenneth Henderson, of China; 43-year-old Glenn Henderson, of Sabattus; and 41-year-old John Spencer, of Litchfield.
Cpl. John MacDonald said if the lake opens up enough, the warden service will consider using sonar and watercraft.
If the ice remains frozen, he said the warden service might consider using a dive team and other equipment.
