3 Charged With Bringing Cocaine to Maine

Three people are facing drug trafficking charges in Maine following their arrests for allegedly bringing a shipment of cocaine to Maine from Connecticut.

AUBURN, Maine (AP) _ Maine Drug Enforcement Agency agents and Auburn police arrested 27-year-old Amanda Rodriguez of Auburn, Margoliz Velázquez of Hartford, Conn., and 39-year-old Markevin Faucette of Lewiston shortly after midnight Wednesday after stopping their vehicle as it was exiting the Maine Turnpike in Auburn. Police say they seized multiple ounces of crack cocaine.

The three are being at the Androscoggin County Jail on $75,000 bail each.
