Lyman Man Sentenced on Drug Charges
04/02/2013 03:05 PM ET

Federal prosecutors say Kenneth Pellitier, 49, was sentenced after pleading guilty in August to drug charges.

A Lyman man has been sentenced to 18-and-a-half years in prison and 10 years supervised release after pleading guilty to drug conspiracy charges.

Federal prosecutors say Kenneth Pellitier, 49, made several trips to New York to pick up crack cocaine that was then distributed in York County. Authorities say Pellitier was responsible for distributing 1.8 kilograms of the drug. He pleaded guilty in August.

The conviction was Pellitier's 24th as an adult, and his third drug trafficking felony conviction, officials say. His latest conviction comes after an investigation by the U.S. Drug Enforcement Agency, the York Country Sheriff's Office and the Biddeford Police Department.
