Portland Attorney Tapped for Public Advocate's Post

Gov. Paul LePage has nominated a Portland attorney to serve as the state's Public Advocate. The advocate's job is to represent the interests of Maine utility ratepayers. Tim Schneider is an attorney at Pierce Atwood, a Portland law firm. He tells MPBN Morning Edition host Irwin Gratz that he was interested in telecommunications law, but found himself drawn into work for electric and natural gas utilities.
