At a news conference Friday night, Fire Marshal Joe Thomas said that residents can take some comfort in the fact that officials have done their jobs.

"We've had three fires down here now. We've had two juveniles and this third fire, and we look at a pile of rubble that is actually black when we start looking at it, and our folks have found the cause," Thomas said. "They found the people and we've turned the city of Lewiston back to Lewiston."

If convicted, the two suspects are each facting up to 90 years in prison.
