A campaign finance report shows Gov. Paul LePage has raised $340,000 for his re-election campaign.

AUGUSTA, Maine (AP) _ A report filed late Monday night with the Maine Ethics Commission shows the Republican governor received $123,000 in contributions in the first six months of the year for the 2014 election. LePage previously reported $215,000 in contributions from December 2011 through 2012.

LePage's two likely major opponents in the 2014 election raised far more money in the first half of 2013.

Independent Eliot Cutler raised more than $432,000 during the first six months of the year. Democratic U.S. Rep. Mike Michaud reported raising more than $313,000 in 17 days after he announced he had formed an exploratory committee and was raising money for a possible run for governor.
