Study Sheds Light on Maine's Declining Atlantic Salmon Population

A new study by scientists at the University of Maine and the Gulf of Maine Research Institute sheds more light on the severe decline of North American Atlantic salmon populations over the past three decades. Research scientist Dr. Katherine Mills is the lead author of the report - which appears in the latest edition of "Global Change Biology" magazine, and which and analyzes data going back to the 1970s. Tom Porter speaks with Dr. Mills about the study's findings.
