AUGUSTA, Maine (AP) _ Maine state police say a woman was found stabbed to death in an Augusta apartment and her boyfriend is being treated at a hospital for what appears to be self-inflicted stab wounds.
State police say the body of 24-year-old Jillian Jones was found Wednesday evening at 32 Crosby Street. Her boyfriend, identified as 38-year-old Justin Pillsbury, is being treated at MaineGeneral Hospital.
Augusta Deputy Chief Jared Mills says no arrests have been made but that there is no threat to the public.
State Police Lt. Christopher Coleman said detectives want to interview Pillsbury. State police spokesman Steve McCausland said that will happen in the next day or so, as soon as his condition improves.
