Maine Gov Ties Yellow Ribbon on Blaine House Tree

Gov. Paul LePage says that troops home and oversees deserve thanks as well as their families ``for their patience and willingness to support their loved ones when they are away from home.''

AUGUSTA, Maine (AP) _ Maine Gov. Paul LePage and First Lady Ann LePage are honoring Maine's military members by tying a yellow ribbon on a tree outside of the Blaine House.

The Republican governor says that troops home and oversees deserve thanks as well as their families ``for their patience and willingness to support their loved ones when they are away from home.''

First Lady Ann LePage is encouraging all Mainers who know a service member to put a yellow on a tree to support them.
