Former NH Youth Coach Gets 40 Years on Sex Charges

CONCORD, N.H. (AP) _ A former New Hampshire youth baseball coach convicted of sexual exploitation of a child and possessing child pornography has been sentenced to 40 years in prison.

Robert Joubert of Manchester was found guilty in November. Court documents say the victims were under age 13 at the time of the abuse.

WMUR-TV reports Joubert was sentenced in federal court.

U.S. Attorney John Kacavas said the 60-year-old Joubert ran the Seacoast Baseball Academy in York, Maine, where the investigation began in March 2012. Police found numerous young men who said Joubert abused them.
