After Latest Snow Storm, Warmer Days Finally Ahead
02/19/2014 09:56 AM ET

But the National Weather Service says some inland communities in New Hampshire, Maine and Vermont could see another 1 to 4 inches of snow today.

CONCORD, N.H. (AP) _ More snow is ahead for residents of northern New England a day after a fast-moving storm dumped about a foot on many communities, but rain and warmer temperatures could present problems in other states.

The National Weather Service says some inland communities in New Hampshire, Maine and Vermont could see 1 to 4 inches of snow on Wednesday. That's far less than the 12 inches of snow reported Tuesday night in New Boston, N.H., or the nearly 10 inches that fell in Kennebunk, Maine.

In Illinois and Ohio, warmer temperatures that are expected to bring rain and melt snow have raised concerns about potential flooding.

In Pennsylvania and Michigan, officials are worried about heavy snow causing roofs and awnings to collapse.
