Search Underway in Maine for Missing Snowmobilers

The Maine Warden Service says Lloyd Blanchard, Jr., 46, and Wendy Lainez-Blanchard, 54, left the Kineo View Motel between 8 a.m. and 9 a.m. yesterday, and haven't returned.

Lloyd and Wendy Blanchard, who went missing after leaving a Greenville motel yesterday on snowmobiles.

A search in underway in Maine for two snowmobilers last seen Sunday morning at a Greenville motel.

The Maine Warden Service says Lloyd Blanchard, Jr., 46, and Wendy Lainez-Blanchard, 54, left the Kineo View Motel between 8 a.m. and 9 a.m. yesterday on individual sleds, both 2007 Arctic Cat machines.

The two, who live in Brewer, were due to return at 2 p.m. Sunday afternoon, but never showed up.

Authorities say Lloyd Blanchard is 6'2" tall and weighs about 210 pounds. He has brown hair and brown eyes. Wendy Blanchard is 5'7" tall, weighs about 140 pounds and has blond hair and brown eyes.

The Warden Service is urging anyone with information about the missing snowmobilers to contact the Orono Public Safety Dispatch Center at 1-800-432-7381.
