09/13/2013 03:55 PM ET

Donald Fortin, 59, was convicted Thursday by a York County Superior Court jury of the misdemeanor charge, and ordered to pay a $500 fine and $110 in fees.

A Turner man is the second man tried - and the first convicted - of engaging the services of a prostitute in the Kennebunk Zumba Dance Studio prostitution case.

Donald Fortin, 59, was convicted Thursday by a York County Superior Court jury of the misdemeanor charge, and ordered to pay a $500 fine and $110 in fees.

The first person tried was acquitted.

The Zumba instructor, Alexis Wright, pleaded guilty in March to 14 counts of engaging in prostitution and six other misdemeanors and sentenced to 10 months in jail. She did not testify at Fortin's trial.

This story was reported and written by Jennifer Mitchell.
