Maine state police say a man was killed when a vehicle missed a curve and crashed into woods, coming to a rest against a tree, in the town of Franklin.

FRANKLIN, Maine (AP) _ Maine state police say a man was killed when a vehicle missed a curve and crashed into woods, coming to rest against a tree, in the town of Franklin.

State police say the wreckage was discovered Friday at midmorning.

WZON-AM identified the victim as a 23-year-old man. Troopers say the man was traveling alone and his name was withheld pending notification of relatives.
