Portland Police Brief Media on Homicide Investigation
01/22/2013 04:35 PM ET

Police are still not releasing the cause of death of Margarita Fisenko Scott, 29, whose body was found Thursday in a car in a motel parking lot.

Portland Police briefed the media this afternoon on the investigation into the homicide of twenty-nine-year-old Margarita Fisenko Scott of Westbrook, who was found dead inside a vehicle in a motel parking lot last Thursday.

Lt. Scott Pelletier identified the vehicle as a 2002 Red Chevrolet Trailbrazer, which the detective says is a vehicle the victim would have normally used. "She was discovered by her husband and a friend of his. They immediately contacted police," Pelletier said.

Pelletier says the Scotts were not living together but had regular contact and there was no history of domestic violence. He says at this point in the investigation, no one has been ruled out as a suspect.

The cause of Scott's death was not released.
