2 Bodies Found in Burned out Easton Home

A spokesman for the state Public Safety Department says the bodies were discovered in a home in the town of Easton early this morning.

EASTON, Maine (AP) _ The Maine Fire Marshal's Office says two people have been killed in an early morning fire in northern Maine.

A spokesman for the state Public Safety Department says the bodies were discovered in a home in the town of Easton early this morning.

The blaze was reported at about 5 a.m. Tuesday.

No names or other details were immediately released.

Easton is in Aroostook County about five miles east of Presque Isle along the Canadian border.
