AUGUSTA, Maine (AP) _ Democratic Senate Majority Leader Seth Goodall of Richmond says lawmakers need to look beyond what the governor says and consider what he does.
Goodall says that for the last two years, the LePage administration has not strengthened the state's economy or grown the middle class.
In his speech Tuesday night, the Republican governor stressed educational choice for students, strategies to lower energy prices and domestic abuse as top issues.
LePage said he wants to hold schools accountable for how well they are educating students by grading each school.
