More than 60 volunteers from the Maine Association for Search and Rescue have been helping game wardens, state troopers and others look for Arthur Wakeman.

BENTON, Maine (AP) _ The Maine Warden Service is still searching for an 86-year-old Benton man who has been missing since Wednesday.

More than 60 volunteers from the Maine Association for Search and Rescue have been helping game wardens, state troopers and others look for Arthur Wakeman, who left his home between 2 p.m. and 4 p.m. Wednesday.

Wakeman was wearing blue jeans and a plaid shirt and likely has his walking stick with him. The warden service said it received two credible sightings of him on Wednesday.

Roadblocks were established Thursday afternoon to advise drivers and to distribute literature regarding the search for Wakeman. Authorities also went house-to-house to talk to residents.
