Ten Arrested After Heroin Bust in Augusta
12/19/2013 02:06 PM ET

Authorities say Peter Gleason, 32, who lives at the home, and Ryan Minoty, 21, also of Augusta, were arrested, along with eight people from out of state.

Ten people, including two Maine men, are under arrest after a police raid this morning at an Augusta home netted heroin and a substance believed to be methamphetamine.

Authorities say Peter Gleason, 32, who lives at the home, and Ryan Minoty, 21, also of Augusta, were arrested, along with six adults from Stroudsburg, Pennsylvania, one from Mt. Pocono, Pennsylvania, and a 17-year-old juvenile from Patterson, New Jersey.

Nine of those arrested are charged with aggravated trafficking in heroin and consipiracy. Minoty is charged with unlawful possession of drugs and drug paraphernalia.

Authorities say a number of those charged are members of - or are affiliated with - a violent Chicago-based street gang known as the "Almighty Black P. Stones."

Officials say 45 grams of heroin, with a street value of about $10,000, were seized, along with about five grams of what's believed to be methamphetamine.
