Maine Police Find Teenager Wanted for Burglaries

State police say 18-year-old Michael Clapp, of Sanford, was arrested Wednesday night hiding in a closet at a friend's home in Biddeford.

BIDDEFORD, Maine (AP) _ Police say a Maine teenager who's wanted for a series of burglaries has been arrested after several weeks on the run.

State police say 18-year-old Michael Clapp, of Sanford, was arrested Wednesday night hiding in a closet at a friend's home in Biddeford.

Clapp was wanted for burglaries in Hollis and in Alton, N.H. Three other young men have already been charged in connection with the break-ins.
