A long-awaited healthcare reform measure included in the federal Affordable Care Act has been unveiled. The Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services announced the long-awaited rule, know as the "Sunshine Act," on Friday. The aim, essentially, is to disclose the financial relationship between drugmakers and doctors. A key advocate for this national measure has been Democratic Maine state legislator Sharon Treat, who's also executive director of the National Legislative Association on Prescription Drug Prices.
