| There are around 190,000 Roman Catholics in Maine -- more than any other denomination. Many of them were likely keenly watching developments unfold at the Vatican this afternoon as a new Pope was chosen. To give us his take on what to expect from Pope Francis, Steven Lewis joins us. He's not a Catholic, but he is academic dean and professor of Ecclesiastical History at the Bangor Theological Seminary. He also attended a Jesuit School. Maine Things Considered host Tom Porter asked Dr. Lewis for reaction to today's appointment. |
