Man from Thailand Lives in Rangeley Has Interesting Story of International Political Hijinx

In the Western Maine mountain town of Rangeley, at the Thai Blossom Express Restaurant, are a number of laminated newspaper clippings taped to the back wall. They tell a story of the house chef, who before coming to the U.S. played a major role in delivering five American diplomats to safety during the Iranian Revolution more than 30 years ago. You won't see his name referenced in last years' film Argo. Its the story of a Thai chef and five very lucky Americans. Its a story Argo didn't tell.
