A truck driver was killed this morning on the Maine Turnpike when his tractor trailer overturned in Falmouth. The crash occurred on the southbound exit ramp at mile 52, also known as the Falmouth Spur.

Maine State Police officials say the truck went off the exit ramp and overturned. No other vehicles were involved. The identity of the driver has not been released.

The mile 52 southbound exit ramp has been closed while the wreckage is being removed and investigators try to determine the cause of the crash.
