BANGOR, Maine (AP) _ One suspect has pleaded not guilty to killing three people whose bodies were found in a burning car in Maine. The court appearance came hours after a second suspect was captured in Massachusetts.
Thirty-four-year-old Randall "Ricky'' Daluz of Brockton, Mass., made his first appearance this morning in a Maine courtroom after being returned from Massachusetts to face three counts of murder and arson. Hours earlier, 31-year-old Nicholas Sexton of Warwick, R.I., was arrested in Brockton.
Three bodies were found inside a burning car with Rhode Island plates in a Bangor early on Aug. 13. Maine authorities have said the victims were shot before the car was burned.
The Maine victims are identified as 26-year-old Daniel Thomas Borders of Hermon; 24-year-old Nicolle Ashley Lugdon Eddington; and 28-year-old Lucas Alan Tuscano of Bradford.
