Maine Lottery Winners Don't Expect Lives to Change

Linda and Bob Von Oesen of Fairfield say they plan to buy a new snow blower after winning more than $4 million in the Tri-State Megabucks Plus lottery game.

HALLOWELL, Maine (AP) _ A Maine couple says they don't expect their lives to change much after winning more than $4 million in a state lottery.

Linda and Bob Von Oesen of Fairfield won about $4.1 million in a Tri-State Megabucks Plus lottery game two weeks ago. The lottery was valued at $8.2 million on an annuitized basis.

The Kennebec Journal says the Von Oesens told reporters at the Maine State Lottery office today that they'll buy a new snow blower so their dog can get around their property this winter. But other than that, they weren't planning any large purchases.

The jackpot is one of the 10 largest Megabucks prizes ever won in Maine, New Hampshire and Vermont, the three states that play Megabucks.
