On the Line host Susan Sharon welcomes attorney Mary Bonauto, civil rights project director for Gay and Lesbian Advocates and Defenders. And, Marc Mutty, campaign chair for “Yes On One/Stand for Marriage Maine.”

 (59:51)

Question 1 on the November 3, 2009 ballot deals with Maine’s same-sex marriage law. The ballot measure asks each voter, do you want to reject the new law that lets same-sex couples marry and allows individuals and religious groups to refuse to perform these marriages?

In addition to guests on both sides of this issue Susan will feature phone calls from listeners as well as e-mails from the audience.
