He's at Colby College in Waterville this weekend to receive the Elijah Parish Lovejoy award for courageous journalism. And he's back here next week on the 15th for a talk at the Unversity of Southern Maine in Portland sharing his thoughts on the American political landscape in the wake of President Barack Obama's reelection. Woodward - who helped uncover the Watergate scandal in the early 70s - has been covering American politics since Nixon. He's now associate editor at the Washington Post, and joined Maine Things Considered host Tom Porter on the line from Washington, D.C. |
