| There's a dirty little secret about those ads run by candidates and outside groups to draw a contrast and paint the opposition in an unflattering light: Voters say they don't like being bombarded with them, but campaigns run them because research shows they work. Jay Field asked some voters in Bucksport today about all that negativity they're seeing on TV, how they're leaning in the U.S. Senate and presidential races and whether they believe their votes will help reverse Maine's economic slide. |
