For the past 30 years, veteran broadcaster Toby Leboutillier has taken listeners on a weekly trip back through time, spinning both the hit songs and those that “didn’t quite make it” that debuted on that day in music history. In between vintage recordings, Toby also looks back on the news of the day, as reported by the Bangor Daily News. Down Memory Lane has become a Friday afternoon tradition and a favorite of young and old alike.

* PROGRAMMING NOTE

Down Memory Lane follows the MPBN Radio program Speaking in Maine. The ending time for Speaking in Maine varies from week-to-week. The result is that the on-line version of the program sometimes clips the beginning of Down Memory Lane if Speaking in Maine ends before 2:00 pm. Conversely, the on-line version of Down Memory Lane sometimes contains the end of Speaking in Maine if the programs stretches beyond the regular 2:00 pm stop time.
