Marian McPartland, who for many years presented and teamed up with jazz talents known and not-so-well-known on her popular NPR program, Piano Jazz, will be heard tonight with some of her early trios from her days at New York's Hickory House. One of her sidemen was drummer Joe Morello, who later went on to become an integral part of the Dave Brubeck Quartet.
