Jamaican-born trumpeter Dizzy Reece's career spanned Great Britain and the U. S., and he made some solid, durable recordings along the way. The focus tonight will be COMIN' ON, one of his 1960 sets for Blue Note which combined two recording sessions in Rudy van Gelder's studio, not issued until years after it was recorded.
