Maine Live! returned to the Skowhegan Opera House for a concert by Dar Williams on Sunday, December 14, 2008. Williams' approximately 90-minute concert was part of her tour in support of her new CD called “Promised Land,” her ninth overall and her first album of new studio work in three years.  Williams performed songs from the new CD as well as dug out some old fan favorites from her deep catalog of songs. Opening for Williams was special guest Ellen Tipper, a Maine performer who warmed up the crowd with a half-hour set of songs from her latest CD, "Flanagan's Field."

Maine Live! was in the central Maine town of Unity for a concert by the Vermont jam-band Strangefolk on Saturday, November 22, 2009 at the Unity College Centre for the Performing Arts.  Not only did MPBN stream every note of the show from this intimate venue, we have it posted right here in multiple audio formats for listening at your convenience. (NOTE: Due to substandard quality in the audio mix in the opening moments of the show, MPBN has edited out the first song out of the audio from the first set).

MPBN was a proud sponsor of a rare acoustic performance by Maine's own Rustic Overtones along with eleven student musicians on December 28th, 2007 at the Waterville Opera House, a concert that MPBN streamed live on the Internet, digitally recorded, and is now offering here in its entirety as both a downloadable podcast and as streaming audio. The students performed orchestral arrangements of the band's songs written especially for this concert by Rustic Overtones horn players Ryan Zoidis and Dave Noyes.
