Local author, Mark Griffin has had a passion for Hollywood musicals since his childhood, especially those directed by the legendary, Vincente Minelli. Griffin’s first book, “A Hundred or more Hidden Things,” looks at Minelli’s life from the perspective of those who knew him well, including personal interviews with such luminaries as Lauren Bacall, Kirk Douglas, and Tony Curtis. Griffin’s book was featured as a book of the month on the Turner Network, and featured as part of the Museum of Modern Art’s film series in New York.
