MPBN Presents the Maine Art Museum Trail

The Maine Art Museum Trail is a seven-part series offering MPBN viewers a video tour the finest art institutions in the state. In addition to gorgeously rendered works of art, each program features museum directors and curators talking in detail about the collections that make each unique.

The Maine Art Museum Trail museums include the Bates College Museum of Art; Bowdoin College Museum of Art; Colby College Museum of Art; Farnsworth Art Museum; Ogunquit Museum of American Art; Portland Museum of Art; and the University of Maine Museum of Art. The museums’ collections include more than 55,000 works of art ranging from ancient to contemporary.
