MPBN's Maine Arts! Presents the legendary singer and Maine resident Noel Paul Stookey takes the stage to share a lifetime of songs and memories in this special concert recorded at the beautiful Waterville Opera House. Maine performers David Mallett and Tim Sample stop by to reminisce with Noel and take the stage with their own songs.

Hosted by MPBN's Suzanne Nance and Maine humorist Tim Sample, and filmed at Gracie Theater at Husson University in Bangor, Christmas in Maine brings together artists from Maine and beyond to celebrate the holidays through music and storytelling. From Christmas classics to Maine holiday traditions, this program promises something for everyone!

This concert in Merrill Auditorium in Portland, featuring guest organists Felix Hell, Thomas Heywood and Fred Hohman, was recorded on August 20, 2012, and was part of the Centennial Celebration of the Kotzschmar Organ.

The dynamic Pavel Haas Quartet takes its name from the Czech composer Pavel Haas (1899-1944) who was imprisoned at Theresienstadt in 1941 and tragically died at Auschwitz three years later. His legacy includes three wonderful string quartets. MPBN recorded the Pavel Haas Quartet on April 15, 2012 at the Collins Center for the Arts in Orono, Maine. “The world’s most exciting string quartet? Well, they suit the tagline better than most. On June 29, 2012 Sharon Isbin came to Maine to perform as part of the inaugural Portland Performing Arts Festival. Isbin presented a diverse program at Williston-Immanuel United Church featuring Latin romances for guitar and the Joan Baez Suite by John Duarte.
