January 23, 2009: How Are Mainers Staying Warm This Winter? Back |
An update on where Maine stands in "Staying Warm" this winter. How many Maine people are getting help this winter? Is there enough to money to help all who need it? Where are fuel prices headed? What kind of new weatherization money is available? These are among the questions we'll ask of our guests: Dale McCormick of the Maine Housing Authority and Jamie Py from the Maine Oil Dealers Association. Plus, we visit the Maine State Museum for its first new major exhibit in more than twenty years, "At Home In Maine." And we'll have a sampling of rock n roll photographs now on display at the Portland Museum of Art.
