Census Implications for Maine/Your Vote 2010
March 4, 2010
Democratic Gubernatorial Candidate Steve Rowe

Maine Watch with Jennifer Rooks looks at the Census and what the 2010 count might mean for the people of Maine. Also, Jennifer speaks with Democratic Gubernatorial candidate Steve Rowe.

The first count of United States citizens was recorded in 1790 and it has been a decennial event since then, as mandated by the U. S. Constitution. The number of members of the United States House of Representatives from each state are apportioned according to the Census count. Is Maine in danger of losing a Representative in Washington, D.C.?

Also, Jennifer begins the first of her conversations with Maine Gubernatorial candidates when she sits down with Steve Rowe to find why he's seeking the Democratic Party's nomination for Governor in the June primary.
