Prescription Drugs/Climate Change
July 24, 2009

Maine Watch with Jennifer Rooks takes a look at the problem of our medications entering the waste stream only to end up harming wildlife as well as fellow humans. Plus, a new DVD aims to help coastal residents prepare for the effects of climate change. And Calais celebrates its bicentennial.

The Maine Sea Grant Program at the University of Maine Cooperative extension plans to hold a series of workshops in coastal communities in connection with the release of its DVD "Building a Resilient Coast: Maine Confronts Climate Change."  The DVD will also be available at libraries.  If you would like to view "Building a Resilient Coast" online, click here.

Also, Calais's Bicentennial Celebration.
