Anne Ravana, Radio News Producer

Anne joined MPBN in May 2008 and was previously the business writer for the Bangor Daily News. While in that position, Anne received awards for deadline and daily newswriting from the New England Associated Press News Executives Association and the Maine Press Association. Prior to working at the Bangor Daily, Anne wrote news scripts as an intern at WBUR, Boston's NPR station. She has also covered statehouse affairs as a correspondent for the Quincy Patriot Ledger and the Brockton Enterprise newspapers in Massachusetts.

Anne holds a B.A. in English from Wellesley College and an M.S. in journalism from Boston University. She grew up in Massachusetts and has also lived in New York City and Southeast Alaska. She now resides near Bangor with her husband and two dogs.
