| This expansive acrylic on panel by Persis Clayton Weirs is titled "Irish Countryside". The thatched roof of the red-doored whitewashed cottage glows in the golden rays of the sun as it pierces the grey storm clouds. The country path with its rock walls guides the shepherd and his flock along green fields which stretch to forever along the inlet of the sea and the surrounding hillsides. This impressive work is presented in a sculpted custom wood frame with linen liner measuring a generous 33 by 40 inches. Artist Weirs exhibits in major wildlife art shows throughout the United States, and her work has been published by Wild Wings for the past twenty years.
